R&D Technician

Using synthetic high-strength fibers such as Kevlar® and Vectran®, Warwick is always creating new weaving, coating, and laminating technologies to provide innovative solutions for our complex customer applications.
Warwick Mills has over 60 patents or patents pending and is continuously expanding their premium product lines through research, development, and invention. Warwick is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of productionmachinery. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the research and development of new textile products and processes.
Create hand samples to support new product development and customer requests.
Conduct tests on fibers, yarns, fabrics, and finishes according to internal and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of samples, test results, and development notes.
Operate lab and production equipment safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality teams to ensure seamless product trials and scaling.
Cross-train and provide support in other areas of production as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab and workspaces.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in textiles, chemistry, or manufacturing a plus.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Comfortable with hands-on work and operating lab equipment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to cross-train and adapt to changing priorities.
